Periodontal Treatment and Surgery

Periodontal disease is the most common disease diagnosed in dogs and cats and probably the least treated correctly.  We provide advanced treatment options that promote reducing or eliminating periodontitis and retention of teeth.

Orthodontics

Malocclusions often cause oral pain due to tooth-to-soft tissue contact or tooth-to-tooth contact.  This is a very common condition and treatable in most cases with tooth movement, reshaping or selective extraction.

Endodontics

Endodontics is root canal therapy.  This procedure is used to treat pulp disease and is most commonly used to treat fractured teeth.  Often ignored, this is a painful, serious condition.  Ignored exposed pulp from fractured teeth leads to tooth loss, abscessation and possible systemic illness

Oral Surgery

We are able to treat a large number of oral conditions requiring surgery such as mandibular and maxillary fractures using wire and intraoral acrylic splinting, oral tumor resection and debulking, mandibulectomy, maxillectomy, surgical extractions, and palatal defects.

Oral Medicine

We offer treatment for difficult conditions such as Feline Lymphocytic Plasmacytic Stomatitis, Canine Ulcerative Paradental Stomatitis and benign and malignant oral tumors.

Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry is aimed at treating damaged teeth.  This includes treatment of enamel hypoplasia, cavity lesions and traumatic injuries requiring crown buildup, reshaping and/or placement of metal crowns for both return to function and anesthetics.
